Football Fashion (wait, what?)
Yes, I am one of those girls who loves football. And by football, I of course mean college football. In person, on TV, at a bar, anyway you can give to me is just fine. It is the best, best thing about fall. Well, maybe other than getting to wear your new cords when the temperature drops. In honor of football season, and because girls to do still like to be fashionable at the games, I am creating a line of clutches and bags in your favorite school's colors. Here's the first few for you State and Carolina girls.
Ok, how much do you love the large polka dots?
And the stripe!
Sorry Carolina girls, had to get my red in somewhere! I promise it's only on my skirt - your bag will not have an ounce of red anywhere:)
Very sweet polka dots on the Carolina Blue and White.
Do you like my husband's photography skills? We clearly need to learn Photoshop.

Many more to come, Duke, ECU, Wake, App. Want one? Visit my esty shop or email me - marian@perfectchancememories.com.

Etsy Favorites - Horses & Barns
In honor of my mom's new barn & miniature horses - yes, little ones - they are about 3 -4 feet tall each. One just had a baby, I haven't seen it yet but I hear it is really cute! About 19 inches tall. These horses are long haired, which just makes them that much more adorable. Anyway, this week's Etsy Favorites center around all things horse and barn-like. The clutch is just adorable, don't cha think?
And the custom made sign - Mom definitely needs a "Jody's Barn" sign. Good thing her birthday and Christmas are just around the corner!

Couture for a Cause
What an honor this is!! I have been asked to create a few bags for an upcoming fall fundraiser in Raleigh called Couture for Cause - which will bring together local non-profits, volunteers, and designers for a night of fashion, all with the purpose of raising awareness of ME3. ME3 encourages people to get involved in their community & helps them find volunteer opportunities. Their vision and mission -
ME³ stands for Motivate, Educate, Empower, and Engage. We envision a world in which every individual realizes
and exercises his or her potential to make a difference in the community. Through outreach, education, and
service, we promote volunteerism and helping others. Our goal is to help create a permanent culture of caring
and community involvement in North Carolina and beyond.
They are still looking for designers to participate, so go here to download your application. If you are a new and young designer, this is a fabulous way to get your name out!! So many from the fashion industry in and around Raleigh will be there - an opportunity to good to miss:)

My Etsy Favorites
There's going to be a new baby in the family! No, it's not me. My brother, Joey & his wife Ash are having a baby in December. They are more adventurous than I imagine I'll be and are going to wait until the birthday to find out the sex. Ash seems to be totally cool with this. Me, me? I'd be going crazy! No patience here.
Anyway, Ash has picked out brown, green, and white as colors for the nursery - hopefully in polka dots & stripes. So of course I had to do an Etsy search. And now, how I am going to resist buying all this stuff? Adorable, don't cha think? Ash & I are both Chi O's, so the owl onesie is right on point. As well as the owl toy - pull the string & it plays a song - how cool is that?!?
I have a lot of purchase decisions to make.

More bags on Etsy:)
I have been busy this week working at both the day job & making bags & supplies for some upcoming events, so I'm just now posting some more items on Etsy. The new bags have an addition - a magnetic snap closure!! My clutch stays closed just fine without it, but it is certainly a lovely addition. It took me some time to find snaps that were lightweight and small, as I did not want to add any weight to these bags. One of my favorite things about them is how light they are - so that was an important factor in my purchase.
Next up on the production line - Clutches in our favorite College colors - just in time for football season:)

New Shoes! (and my new frok)
Anywho, this post is not really about my new shoes. Its about my new Frok from the House of Rok.

To go with my new shoes, I ordered the Tia in black with a fuchsia belt. I can already tell that I'm going to be making this line a staple in my wardrobe. All the better to help the environment, right?
